YWCA Lantern Light

S+A was commissioned to transform the former Sacred Heart Convent into a 23-unit supportive housing facility for families at risk of homelessness. The unique existing floor plan provided a challenge to create functional 1-, 2-, 3-, & 4-bedroom apartments that focus on safety, comfort, and durability. Fully furnished living spaces, with supporting office and meeting spaces, provide a stepping stone for families to transition from an emergency shelter to permanent housing.
