Red River Zoo Admissions Building

With growing attendance, the Red River Zoo desired to create a new entrance with additional parking. The goal was to enhance the visitor experience while meeting the new functional requirements. The entrance building, built into an earthen berm, becomes a transition from the urban environment to environments with both exotic species as well as domestic varieties. The ample skylights offer energy efficient lighting to all spaces that enhances the working environment and animal exhibit within.
