Prairie St. John’s

Following an extensive planning effort, S+A teamed up with Stengel Hill Architecture to design a new, four-story building on the existing Prairie St. John’s site to accommodate 120 inpatient behavioral health beds. SHA served as lead in the programming and interior design, while S+A served as Architect of Record, navigating unique City Planning challenges, designing the building core and shell, site development, and administering the project throughout the construction. Between planning, funding, and COVID-19 project curtailment, the project spanned 7 years.
