North Dakota State University Hastings Hall

NDSU’s Hastings Hall, formerly a science building, was transformed into the modern Human Resources and Payroll offices; functions previously housed off-campus. The scope of work included a complete renovation of the interior, new mechanical and electrical services, and a large focus on making the building accessible, accomplished by creating a new on-grade entrance lobby with an elevator. Due to the nature of the building functions, security was a major design criterion to provide safety through access control and visibility.
