In 1987, David Shultz served as a project manger for the development of a master plan and the construction of phase I, a fellowship hall for First Baptist Church. Shultz & Associates was commissioned (20 years later) for planning the second phase of that master plan, a Narthex addition and expansion of religious education space. The project was completed in the spring of 2009.
