Corporate

A 2003 expansion project planned for the addition of a third floor at Blue Cross Blue Shield.  This project constructed the third floor (8,100 SF) which accommodates additional open-office space and the corporate executive suite for the company.  The executive suite includes office space for company executives, support staff, two meeting rooms and the corporate board room.  The Board Room, which seats 30, provides space for internal meetings as well as Board proceedings.  The design direction for the space was the use of materials complementary to the remainder of the building, in a manner fitting to the corporate suite, but without being ostentatious.

An approachable corporate environment was desired.  Sidelights and clerestory windows bring light into the interior of the space, augmenting a linear skylight that defines the circulation path from the entrance to the Board Room.  All meeting spaces in the suite are fully equipped with AV projection and AV-driven room controls including lighting and window shades.  Full interactive AV is provided in the Board Room and Executive Conference Room to support remote meetings.
